More of a sigh than a cheer... I had been using the SDRplay v0.7 distro all this time for my testing. Swapped to PiSDR this arvo and BOOM, 15 minutes later, Jaero decoding 10500 ACARS.... I have no idea how they broke the sound on that build, but they sure did.
Now the sad news... I can only run around 4 to 5 Jaeros before the decode rate takes a hit. The Pi is mighty, but not SatCom mighty.

On the fence about writing this up or not... You are looking at roughly 19 hours solid work. Jaero running on a Raspberry Pi. Only it's not... CubicSDR uses alsa and Jaero uses Pulse, and I can't get the two to play nice with a virtual audio cable... So. Very. Close.

7 turn helix for L-Band Inmarsat aero SatCom. Got a bunch of guys on the ACARS / VDL2 group that want to buy them.
The stainless steel base was the hardest part, burnt 3 drills. 3D printing by @wizradical from a design off thingverse.
They perform better than the RTLSDR V2 patch antenna, but are harder to mount outside (most of the users are putting them in a flowerpot).

Checked the focal point of my dish. Sure enough, it was a fair bit out. No before photo, but it was the size of a family sized pizza pan. Now that it's much sharper, the tracking is more critical, but 6db is worth it. Right?
