2025 Fourth of July
Go hard or go home - or both.

Bit lost for words.... I've never seen, heard or felt anything like our neighborhood over the span of about 6 hours. Non-stop fireworks.
I'm going to post a bunch of videos, and it's up to you to decide whether you want to watch them all or just get a feel for it by watching say the first and last.
It starts when it's still daylight...
I laugh and point to our house at the end here. Laughing cause it's pretty cool and because it's just a little bit mind-blowing that this sort of thing happens out ya front door!
Went up on the shop roof on and off over the few hours I was actively watching them.
We also walked around a lot and met a bunch of the neighbours. It was a great way to introduce ourselves and see so many of them in one evening.
Shaky cam, I know, but the shot I'm trying to get is the 360-degree nature of this. It was not just 1-2 houses on either side of our home... It was ALL of Post Falls. Every street had a bunch going off. A whole bunch.
You can see Freddy at the bottom, just on her way from the backyard to the house to get some dessert. She is just standing, a little transfixed at what is happening over the roof of the house.
As I said, this went on like this from around 7:30pm to about 1am. Hardly a few seconds lull over the house the entire time.
The last two are from the backyard. Freddy and I figured we were at ground zero, so we put out the lawn chairs, got some ice cream and apple pie, and watched the show for the next hour. Finally, we got fireworks saturated (mentally, visually, and audibly and feeling the explosions smash your clothes into your body and the thump in the air) and went to bed to the sounds of them still going off.
Post Falls takes their independence pretty seriously.
