Error 1003

Of course the main goal of getting this blog back up and running is to get my / our beloved Buninyong weather station pages back up.
The frustrating thing there is that everything works, but its just not working.
I have the SFTP working, we (me and the Buninyong station owner) can each log in just fine with Filezilla and transfer files no problem.
But, weather display... not so much.

1003: Could not negotiate server host key algorithm.

I've sort of narrowed it down to either WD is caching my old thebaldgeek SSL cert key (ie March 22nd 2024) and is not accepting my 2025 cert.
Or, and we hope not, the PC that WD is running on it simply too old.
Its a Dell running XP.
My confusion there is why would the passing of a year break SFTP for XP?
ie, Im not ready to give up on the hope that its not a hardware issue.

I've tracked down Opto's Weather Display setup and want to give it a test to see if I can get it to upload the weather data using Buninyong user/pass.
I've also asked Tom, the station owner, to try and update WD to the latest as all Google results point to the software dev making a lot of changes in the SFTP code over many months.
I also know Gary has (had) a WD setup, but am unsure of its status to run a test.
