This Site is set up to display weather observations and history for the town of  BUNINYONG, (Post Code 3357) with the station located on the top of Bowen Hill.

Owing to the treed area in which the weather station is located, the wind speed and direction is generally affected. Whilst the direction is generally accurate, the wind speed can be half that registered at the BOM station at the Ballarat Airport. All other readings should be as accurate as the station is capable of measuring.

The Station is a LaCrosse WS 2307, feeding Weather Display Software, which in turn updates the web site at 15 minute intervals. Nb Day Light Saving Time IS applied when current. Australian E.S.T. is the nominal, non DST, time.
