Trance #27 - Yet Another Day
Dying to see another day

Somethings disappear inside
Should I try to run away
If I could I would escape you
I won't argue anymore
I have lost the will to be
Hope you don't think I'm ungrateful
Close the curtains lock the door
Left my notes upon the stair
In the hope you wouldn't read it
Fake emotions in my head
Everything I've seen and read
Can't begin to find a reason
Why, why are you laughing?
Is it something that I said?
I don't like this place at all
Makes me wonder what I'm here for
Someone take this pain away
Dying to see another day
And I don't want to be your friend
Or pretend I can fit in to
I'm incensed, I'm blown away
Dying to see another day
I mostly like tracks with no vocals. The music speaks enough for me, and I don't usually do well with lyrics. I struggle to follow them (hence not liking a lot of other lyric-centric music types. I can't follow what they are saying, and so I don't see the point of the song.) and figure out what the songwriter is trying to say.
Most trance tracks are pretty basic with their lyrics, simple, emotional, and usually pretty abstract. Lots of space left for the listener to fill in the blanks with the music.
Bottom line, I sometimes do 'Ok' with trance tracks with lyrics.
There are some tracks that I am just not going to unpack here.
There is just too much deep-rooted pain and emotion wrapped up in them. This is one of those.
Also, that guitar.... wow...
