Perhaps its just me, but sometimes you hear stuff and you can tend to just brush it off…..
Don’t put batteries in checked luggage….. yeah, yeah, its a battery, whats it going to do?

What a mess, and it could have been oh so much worse.
Its a bit of a worry that the guy said ‘No’ to the specific question about batteries being in the case. He had 18 of them, kind of hard to ‘forget’ about that many…. that conversation is best left for another time.
Anyway, point is, as annoying as rules are when it comes to flying, they are there for a reason.
(Guess I’m thinking about this stuff as I start my packing list for our trip to Australia in a few weeks).
