At first sight, this looks great.

64 bit cpu, good chunk of memory, connectivity, great price….
So why am I not falling over myself to spend 15 bucks on their Kickstarter?
Because they have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory… The OS runs off a micro SD card.
Bah.
Still, my hope remains, that someone, someday will make a nice sweet little single board computer that ticks all the boxes that we need for an IoT device that runs Linux.
I guess the point of this post is that you need to keep your wits about you and read the fine print and think about things before you jump in (even at 15 bucks).
