This shot gives a better view of the view. We are halfway down the ridge at this point. I don’t normally stop here, but wanted to fly the drone from this spot as the usual stop-spot had some pretty marginal flying conditions (high wind gusts). I will get some video (and stills) from that spot at some stage in the future.
Anyway, this is looking downhill to the town of Borrego Springs. We are looking almost due east as you can see from the sunrise.
We bumped the brightness in the photo to bring up the detail of the hill in front of me, I wanted to show the desert, its very beautiful out here.
